Newbridge Church

The proposal involves the replacement of the existing church & community facility with a new contemporary style church that facilitates today’s community. The proposed church demonstrates a clear, modern yet traditional design language through the architectural use of brickwork and sleek window design.

Christian Life Centre

A contemporary church located in Selly Oak. The spaces were designed with careful consideration to allow for multi-functional use.

Handsworth Baptist Church

Completed in November 2004. Designed in traditional materials with a substantial amount of glazing, the height of the building respects and complements the residential context.

Central Mosque Birmingham

The design involved a major refurbishment and extension to the existing mosque. We were commissioned to design a scheme for a new main approach to the mosque which requires additional space and facilities. The design helps address visitor movement from ground floor to first floor level involving the reconfiguration of the entrance with a new staircase. The project also featured making use of the existing car parking site to provide additional car parking capacity.

Clifton Road Mosque

The scheme has involved extensive negotiations with the planning department and a strategy of joint involvement in the design development has been successful as the scheme has the backing of the planning officers. The project is being carried out in collaboration with Dr M Aboutorabi.

Shakespeare Street

Ameer-e-Millat Mosque The commission involved the design for a major redevelopment of existing mosque site to provide a new larger mosque with community and education facilities.

St Paul’s Convent

A phased project to bring the residential accomodation up to current day standards and to provide accessibility throughout the mainly Victorian complex.

Balaji Temple

We are commissioned to design various projects over several years including shrines, a contemporary banqueting suite with amenities, pundit accommodation and meditation spaces.

St.James Wollaston

St James’s Church is a Grade II Listed Building. The congregation needed a community facility for numerous activities for their luncheon club to keep-fit classes etc.

The design we produced fitted in with the listed church while having a contemporary style. This was achieved by using similar facing materials to the church with modern detailing.

Guru Nanak Gurdwara

The scheme involved the design of a contemporary extension to incorporate additional capacity for the temple and a new community facility.

Wright street Mosque

A conceptual contemporary, environmentally friendly conceptual design for a new mosque. The objective was a departure from traditional Islamic architectural design styles and a move towards contemporary design with Islamic calligraphy and Islamic geometric form.

Lourdes Church

BRP were commissioned to oversee the refurbishment of the 1920s school hall, which included a new lighting scheme.
