Accessible Design
At brp arctects we have a vast experince in projects ranging from house extension to commercial buildings. View our recent projects below.
St Pauls Convent
The Convent comprised many wings built in the Victorian era and designed for use by ambulant persons. With the advancing age of the residents, we were able to develop creative solutions to enable access to most areas for all residents including those with limited mobility.
Local Authority Contracts
We are commissioned by various Local Authorities in the West Midlands on a call off contract basis to advise in the delivery of various home adaptations including accessible bedrooms and bathrooms which are funded by a DFG grant.
Cotsworlds
A bathroom extension to a listed building in the Cotswolds area of outstanding natural beauty to enable use by disabled person. The listed building status required careful design to harmonise aesthetic with the existing building.
